"Output Directory" Panel

The "Output Directory" panel contains the file options for saving the recorded file.

You have the option to either specify a central location for all converted files, or to have the each converted file saved in the same directory as its input file.


Specify
Show the directory edit field. Have all converted files to be saved in one central directory.

Save to the same directory as the input file
Each converted file will be saved to the same directory as its input file.

 

You can type in the file path directly in the edit field, or use the buttons. There are two buttons next to the file path edit box.

Browse
button_browse
Browse for the directory using the standard Windows file dialog.

Explore
button_explore
If you already have a directory name in the edit box, click on this button to open it in Windows Explorer.
 
 
 
Additional settings provides you with options when the file already exists.

Prompt whether to replace
The software will ask for your permission to replace the file at recording time.

Overwrite existing file
The existing file is replaced automatically.

Rename the output file automatically
If the file already exists, a new file will be created with a number added to the file name.
