Click on the Record 
button on the tool bar. The Export dialog comes up.
For now, leave everything at its default. Click on the "Next" button.
"PCM" is the default codec for WAV. Click "Next".
The next section of the Export dialog asks you for an output file path. Enter "C:\myspeech.wav" Click "OK".
For this tutorial, the recording process takes less than one second. A file named "myspeech.wav" is generated at the root directory of the C: drive.
