| River Past Talkative uses self-contained single-file installers. There are two versions of installers, depending on whether Windows Media Format runtime is included.

| Both installers are available on River Past website.
|
|
|
| If you already have a previous version installed, you will be prompted to remove the existing installation.
|
|
|
| Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. The software uses less than 4 MB total disk space, excluding WMF runtime and Text-to-Speech Engine.

|
|
| From the Start menu, select "Programs | River Past | Talkative | Uninstall River Past Talkative". You will be asked if you want to continue. Click "Yes" to proceed.

| You can also uninstall from the "Add/Remove Programs" control pane
